US Bearing

Bearing Wheels have a receiver on the back for the small white bearing to go into. The small white bearing is attached to the axle.

Most of the castings available were not from the US, so these wheels were created for the purists out there than want the correct look for their less-common US castings. The US wheels are very different from the standard looking redline wheels from the era. They almost look like mistakes!
